MONTHLY FASHION ILLUSTRATION

Do you love drawing clothing and accessories? Then these classes are for you! Every fashion illustration project is unique. Here, you’ll learn the basics of coloring clothing and how to represent various textiles and fabrics. You’ll learn to draw fashion portraits, body figures, and postures. We’ll create mood boards and experiment with different mediums, from coloring to painting to collaging on paper with all materials included.

You’ll be given silhouettes, a theme to follow, and many materials to be creative with, so get your binder ready to be filled with amazing, trendy fashion illustrations.

This course is open to  ALL AGES.

3D FASHION ILLUSTRATIONS EVENT

This summer holidays, join us in this 3D fashion illustration event.

Bring your fashion design sketches to life! Experiment with diverse colors, materials and learn different techniques like ruffling, pleating, and draping of fabrics to create hyper-realistic 3D illustrations. 

We start with fashion silhouettes, a design theme and lots of interesting quality materials for you to be creative with, use our professional markers, paints and other artistic tools we have available to polish your design.

monthly fashion Sewing Club

After school Monthly workshops focused on a different project every month. You’ll learn to design a new piece, either from scratch or transform an old one, experimenting with fabrics and materials.  Each Fashion design project is different and follows a theme, you could make animal wings, funky skirts, and many accessories, anything you make you can take home! Our fashion design projects are meant to be fun and explorative and each one has been built to teach kids how to sew either by hand or machine, while enhancing their creativity.
 
All main materials are included, you’ll only need to provide a specific fabric or any old clothes they might want to upcycle, this depends on the project and we’ll inform you beforehand with all details.

SUMMER fashion design club

This holiday season, get ready to create, draw, sew and decorate like a fashion designer! Join us in this 3-day fashion design workshop.

  • 22nd of July (Fashion illustration moodboard making): 

Learn to create your own fashion mood board and design clothing using our illustration and presentation techniques.

  • 23rd of July (Create a top from scratch):

Learn the steps to make a top for yourself using a sewing machine, and follow the theme to personalise it.

  • 24th of July (Embroidery and accessories):

Learn different hand sewing techniques and create accessories to match your outfit or add embroidery details to it.

All materials necessary for this 3-day workshop are included in the price

If you’ve always dreamed of becoming a fashion designer and enjoy experimenting with fabrics and decorations, then these classes are perfect for you. We’ll take you on a ride from design to pattern-making to manufacturing, we’ll teach you about different materials, prepare and cut fabrics, while improving your sewing skills. This term we will implement one project that you can then personalised and it will be carried out across the duration of the course; It could be tops, skirts, or accessories; you could make them from scratch or upcycled, depending on the project.

 We do not provide the main fabrics for the projects, as it’s a very personal design decision, but we include all materials and equipment for the construction and decoration of each piece. We’ll inform and advise about the types and quantities of fabric beforehand.

AGES 11-16

Every Monday from the 14th of September to the 19th of October (5:45 pm – 7:45 pm)

PRIVATE sewing LESSONS

We offer private sewing classes for children, teens, and adults who want personalized instruction to learn the basics of sewing through interesting and creative tasks. This will help introduce them to the world of sewing and guide them in managing and accomplishing future solo projects. Classes can be either individual or in small groups, and we can tailor your learning if you have a special project that needs guidance and support.

Standard price per individual 2-hour lesson is £60

We include all of the necessary materials and equipment in the class, you do not need to bring any of your materials unless we advise you to do so for specific projects. We have great importance when it comes to upcycling and recycling, as a lot of our materials come from past fashion collections and donations. we do not let any materials go to waste.

You are welcome to bring your own sewing machine and tools if you feel more comfortable with it or if you feel it would be beneficial for your child. please let us know beforehand.

We offer a small snack or drink in some of our lessons or events. Please contact us in advance in case of any intolerances or allergies.

my story

Hello, I’m Jennifer Somoza, and my journey from architecture to fashion has been nothing short of exhilarating. While architecture in Venezuela was fulfilling, my heart longed for the world of fashion. So, I made the bold move to study in Rome, Italy, where I was captivated by the artistry of Italian-tailored and haute couture.
 
During my studies, necessity led me to seek part-time employment. Drawing upon my experience as a babysitter during an exchange program in the US, I found the confidence in tutoring children in Rome. Over six enriching years, I worked with children aged 4 to 11, Taught them languages, and engaged them in after-school activities, creating long-lasting memories along the way.
 
Post-graduation, I embarked on a global adventure, immersing myself in different cultures, and fashion scenes, participating in shows, and doing exhibitions and workshops for adults in the places I visited. Now, settled in the UK with my newborn daughter, I’m fueled by her inspiration to blend my passion and expertise in fashion with my children’s teaching experience. Thus, I have found my fashion project; after-school workshops where kids can learn sewing skills and unleash their creativity with each project.

Parents don’t need to attend as the room at the center can only accommodate a certain amount of seats. I am fully DBS checked and you can visit my socials to know a little bit more about me.

No, the workshops are set up on blocks of 6 or 5 lessons
